The Richard R. Maze Memorial Challenge Trophy
As an enduring reminder of his devoted stewardship to our club and to the sport
of dogs, the Bulldog Club of Texas offers, at the Saturday show of its specialty,
the Richard R. Maze Memorial Challenge Trophy.
• This trophy will be inscribed with the Best of Breed Winner's name,
handlers name, owners name and breeders name if they meet the
criteria for the award. The winner of the trophy will have the
option to take possession for one year if they are the breeder
owner and handler, and agree to sigh a trophy contract *.
• If the Best of Breed winner does not meet the criteria
(breeder, owner,handler), then the club will keep the trophy.
• Permanent possession of the trophy will be awarded if the trophy
is won three times by the same breeder, owner, handler, but not
necessarily with the same Bulldog.
*A replica of the Richard R. Maze Memorial Challenge Trophy
will be awarded to the Best of Breed Winner each year.
* Trophy contract: by signing this contract the winner agrees to be
responsible for the returning the trophy the following year. They must
provide proof of adequate homeowners insurance in case the trophy is stolen
or damaged. The winner must also allow the club sufficient time to have
the trophy inscribed.
The Nancy Morrison Memorial Trophy
As an enduring reminder to her devotion to the sport of dogs ,
The Bulldog Club of Texas offer as their “B-Match” ,
the Nancy Morrison Memorial Trophy.
• The trophy will be in addition to the best in match trophy.
• The trophy will only be awarded if the best in match winner
is the breeder , owner , handler of the dog.
• The trophy will be inscribed with the name of the person and
dog awarded the trophy.
• The trophy will be permanently awarded if the same person
wins it three times not necessarily with the same Bulldog.
• The person awarded the trophy will have the option to take
possession of the trophy until the next “B-Match” .
